City Groningen is the ideal base for a weekend exploring Groningen and its surroundings. It is located close to the central station, so easily accessible with all the city's hotspots nearby. You can hire a bicycle at the hotel and explore the city. Cycle through the centre with its historic warehouses, courtyards and buildings, past the Martini Tower towards the Grote Markt and see Groningen at its best. The Groninger Museum is an absolute must. The museum has a wonderful collection of its own and also hosts special touring exhibitions. The building is an artwork on it's own.

Good stay in December, 2024

Good tea and coffee for free in my room; Great location few minutes away on foot from Forum Groningen, Groninger Museum, Martinitoren and Groningen Station; Hotel staff are friendly; Room’s Furniture is great and equipments on toilet is good too; There’s a useful market close if you need something different from what hotels provides.

Wonderful in hotel in Groningen

Excellent experience overall. The staff was attentive and gracious and the hotel was conveniently located to everything. The staff was attentive and very gracious and the rooms was clean and comfortable and quite spacious. Would absolutely recommend and hope to stay there again!

Lot of noise

There was a lot of noise during the night, from the outside. There is a bar/restaurant next the the hotel with people till late in the morning outside.
